AstroBin is a thriving community with lots of activity: the forums, image comments and private messages are enriched by AstroBin's powerful content editor.

Special features

In addition to what you would expect from a modern rich content online editor, such as bold, italic, lists, and so on, AstroBin provides the following special features.

Mentions

Use the @ sign and start typing somebody's name to mention any user on AstroBin. They will get a notification (except if you mention them in a private message).

File uploads

You can upload any file, and images, to AstroBin's rich content editor. It works everywhere (forum posts, image comments, and private messages) and the file size limits are:

  • 1 MB for AstroBin Free

  • 5 MB for AstroBin Lite

  • 10 MB for AstroBin Premium

  • 20 MB for AstroBin Ultimate

AstroBin images

Use the # sign and start typing an image title to insert one of your images anywhere in a forum post, image comment, or private message.

 

Code

You can also share code on AstroBin (e.g. pixel math functions, PixInsight scripts…) and it will be nicely formatted!
